Koala Love

Sending out some koala love. I couldn't help but feel the urge to pull this sweet little koala out
with all of the devastating fires that continue to go on in Australia. Last year I received this Party Koala from Lawn Fawn during my birthday month (which just so happens to be JANUARY!). I just received some of this Knit Picky paper as a free gift with my recent order from Lawn Fawn (I love how they do this!) and thought it would be perfect to serve as both leaves and little green hearts to show some love. I am linking this card up with the Lawn Fawnatics challenge to use old and new on a card. I used some woodgrain cardstock as both my background/card base and for one of the Happy Birthday line border die cuts. I wanted to create a bit of a shadow so I cut it out in black, too. This proved very difficult to adhere down to my card - any tips would be very welcome! I enjoyed colouring up my little party koala with some Tombow markers onto some watercolour paper. I just couldn't resist stamping the Koalafied to Party sentiment on the inside of my card.

Paper - Woodgrain, Knit Picky (LF)
Stamps - Party Koala, Koalified to Party (LF)
Dies - Party Koala, Happy Birthday line border (LF)
