I've had these beautiful Canson watercolour cards for awhile and I guess I have been saving them to use on a special occasion! I needed to make two thank you cards for work and also a nice birthday card for someone special. I decided to create some bouquets with daisies and eucalyptus.

I tried out some different combinations of daisies using distress oxide inks: Tattered Rose + Kitsch Flamingo, Milled Lavender, Tattered Rose + Dried Marigold. The centres of all of the daisies are Mustard Seed + Spiced Marmalade distress ink.

For the eucalyptus sprigs, my favourite combination is using Close To My Heart ink, Juniper (retired), and then stamping a layer of White Daisy ink over top of one of the layers to give the dusty look of eucalyptus.

I decided to create a light wash for the background of my cards using distress oxide ink. I tried Speckled Egg + Tattered Rose but I think my favourite combination was Tattered Rose + Spun Sugar

To assemble my bouquets, I used the Press'n'Seal trick of arranging them how I wanted on the card and then picking it up with the Press'n'Seal to apply my adhesive. I could then easily stick the bouquet down and remove the Press'n'Seal to use again for something else! I completed the bouquets by adding some die cut ribbons that my Auntie Karen had sent me - thank you!
