This set just may be my new favourite! It is stunning and I am in love with these eucalyptus sprigs. These stamps from The Greetery are easy to use and provide gorgeous results. I was inspired by Laurie Willison's beautiful CAS card from the release week and just couldn't wait to see my own version come together on this plantable paper. I used second generation stamping to achieve the lighter parts of the sprig.

I planted this plantable paper in my own garden several weeks ago to see what popped up. My wildflower seedlings have been growing and growing and have finally started to bloom! Be sure to check out my Instagram highlights to see the results of this plantable paper :).

Stamps - Simple Things (The Greetery)
Ink - Juniper, Desert Storm, Archival Black (CTMH)

It's that time of year when you may need some extra thank you cards! I made these mini sets with the beautiful Close To My Heart 'thanks' stamp from a few years back. They are 3x3 sized and come with cute white mini envelopes in a set of 10.

Paper - Stamper's Select White (PTI)
Stamps - Thanks (CTMH)
Embossing Powder - Princess Gold (Ranger)

I am SO EXCITED to show off some plantable invitations! Someone in the family asked me to make some wedding shower invitations for their daughter and I couldn't wait to try them out using this paper and my Cricut. I found some awesome calligraphy pens to use in the Cricut and set to work creating a simple design with these beautiful plumeria flowers from an older Hawaiian Close To My Heart set. I am loving this plantable paper! You can see video of my planting experience with this paper on my Instagram highlights. This picture shows the wildflower seedlings that have popped up from me planting a Mother's Day card embedded with wildflower seeds! I am linking up to the Heart2Heart challenge to "get your craft on" because I certainly felt that way with this project!

Paper - White Wildflower Seed Paper (Botanical Paperworks)
Pens & Markers - 0.4 Tip Black; Calligraphy 2.0 Black (Cricut); 126, 761 (Tombow)
Stamps - Hawaiian Hibiscus (CTMH)
How exciting is it for mail day when you actually end up having some time to play with your new stuff?! I happened to luck out the other day when I opened my package from The Greetery and had some free time during nap time to play around! Since I am having trouble getting the painted effect I want on the plantable paper I thought these stamps would be perfect to achieve the watercolour feel I am going for and they did not disappoint! I cannot wait to check out The Greetery's latest release next week!

Paper - White Wildflower Plantable Paper (Botanical Paperworks)
Stamps - Fleur Impressions (The Greetery), Blessings (Verve)
Ink - Goldrush, Olive, Crystal Blue, Indian Corn Blue (CTMH); Onyx Black (Versafine)
For my Mom's birthday card this year I set out to make her a wine card. This Simon Says Stamp set paired with the fun wine sayings from My Favorite Things seemed to be fitting for what I envisioned. I stamped the image in a lighter Memento ink that I just got and then set to work with my Tombow markers to create a watercolour effect.

Paper - Distress Watercolor paper (Tim Holtz)
Ink - London Fog, Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Stamps - Time For Wine (SSS); Uncorked (MFT)
Markers - 126, 177, 451, 679, 992 (Tombow)
Father's Day cards have hit Lane & Meadow this week just in time for the coming weekend celebration. I wanted to create a watercolour look with this sailboat and decided to colour right onto the stamp with my Tombow markers. I really like how delicate this Verve sentiment font is and like how it coordinates with this seaside set.

Paper - Distress watercolour paper (Tim Holtz)
Stamps - Seaside Greetings (CTMH); Strong Anchor (Verve)
Ink - Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Markers - 451, 856,977, N65 (Tombow)
It's often challenging for me to design a more masculine card but I finally set to work with this older Close To My Heart seaside set. I played around with the colour a bit...I knew I didn't want to stamp it in black ink so I was trying to colour in each part of the lighthouse with different Tombow markers, but the translation just wasn't happening to my liking. I finally decided to keep it simple by colouring the entire image with this beautiful Marvy navy hue and I love how it turned out.

Paper - Distress Watercolour Paper (Tim Holtz)
Stamps - Seaside Greetings (CTMH); Strong Anchor (Verve)
Ink - NO. 29 Prussian blue (Marvy)

I have participated in some really wonderful yoga classes lately. One was a Journey to the Peak series with Krista at Inner Roar Yoga that included a series of poses that lead up to a challenging pose each class for four weeks. The other was a warm yoga class with Jen at Mountain Life Hot Yoga. One of the best parts about this class is that it is child friendly so I can bring my little guy and he can play while I enjoy a good stretch!

Paper - Kraft (Lawn Fawn)
Ink - Archival Black (CTMH)
Stamps - Love & Yoga (Penny Black); Mandala (Studio Katia)
Another clean and simple design to add to some cards headed to Lane & Meadow this week! I tried to keep this card gender neutral so that it could be used for any teacher :). Lots of gift options for teachers in the shoppe, too!

Paper - Stamper's Select White (PTI); Gold Foil (CTMH)
Stamps & Dies - Best Ever (Studio Katia)
Embossing Powder - Princess Gold (Ranger)
