Cloud Nine

This month at Close To My Heart we have had the Cloud Nine Cardmaking Kit for $15 when you place a minimum order of $35. We still have some available, contact me if you are interested! I had some scraps left over from my kits that I wanted to use up. I immediately liked the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week and knew it would work great with these papers. I love both patterns on this paper, so I also chose to play along with the Two Faced Challenge at Heart2Heart, although you can see the edges way better in person than in this picture!

All supplies are Close To My Heart:
patterned paper - Cloud Nine; cardstock - Lagoon, Honey, White Daisy; Teal shimmer tape;
stamp set -  Cloud Nine; ink - Lagoon. Shape cut from Cricut Artiste cartridge.

House Pickle

Have you ever made a house pickle before? Stuff a jar full of crisp, chopped veggies, add 1 part water to 2 parts vinegar, a tbsp. sugar and a tbsp. sea salt, add some dill and voila, a tasty treat! I was so excited when I saw the new CTMH Made From Scratch stamp set and I decided to order the Jubilee textiles as well to go with it. I wasn't sure how I felt when CTMH brought out coordinating fabric to some of our paperpacks, but I must say now that I have it, I absolutely love it for gifts like these :)
Supplies used: cardstock - Cashmere, White Daisy (CTMH); fabric - Jubilee Textiles (CTMH);
vinyl - Chalkboard (CTMH); stamp set - Made From Scratch (CTMH);
 ink - Cranberry, Honey, Sweet Leaf (CTMH); shapes cut from Cricut Artiste cartridge (CTMH).

Simon Says Fusion

Here's another sneak peak at a new stamp set from Close To My Heart. I used the Jubilee papers with some retired Dakota papers (we will have a new paperpack with a woodgrain pattern on it called Timberline!). I wanted to play along with the Fusion Card Challenge again and I chose to use both the sketch and the colours for inspiration this time. It is also my first time playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and this week the challenge was to Emboss It. I chose heat embossing on my card.

Stamp set - Give A Lift (CTMH); patterned papers - Jubilee, Dakota (CTMH);
cardstock - Honey, Colonial White (CTMH). Shapes cut from Cricut Artbooking cartridge (CTMH).

Jubilee

Finally I was able to attend another weekend crop! I got a few things accomplished tonight and was able to get some time in on our house album. Here is a page I made inspired by the Shabby Tea Room challenge using the Jubilee papers from our new catalogue! I'm sure I will be making many more projects with this fantastic paper! This picture is of our lot with the foundation poured. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to capture the breathtaking mountains in the background.
Supplies used: patterned paper - Jubilee (CTMH); cardstock - Cashmere, Indian Corn Blue, Colonial White (CTMH);
ink - Cashmere, Cocoa (CTMH); shapes cut from the Artbooking Cricut cartridge (CTMH).

Penguin Thank You's

Well, it's back to school for me tomorrow and I need some thank you cards! I fell in love with these cute 3x3 washi tape cards created by Vicki Wizniuk and thought they would be easy to whip up the amount I needed. I used CTMH's Sparkle & Shine washi tape, some penguin stickers my mom bought me, and played along with this week's Dynamic Duos colour challenge using Honey and Juniper. I really wanted to take a picture outside in the snow, but the picture I took inside of the other ones turned out better. Here they are:

Happy New Year!

I was so happy to see that the Fusion card challenge is going to continue and decided to play along  with only the sketch since I wanted to make a winter card for my husband's birthday next week. I found the perfect colour combinations to go along with it from Color Throwdown.
All supplies are Close To My Heart: paperpack - Wonderland; cardstock - Twilight, Silver Glitter paper, White Daisy;
ink - Slate; sparkles. Snowflake shapes cut from Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.
