A close colleague of mine who became a friend turned 60 yesterday and I wanted to make a special card for her to celebrate the occasion. I wanted to incorporate her age on the card using the pretty Bold Numbers from The Greetery, but I knew she would not want something loud. I decided to create something soft and incorporate her favourite colour, pink, into the flowers.

I tried to create a subtle frame by using my bone folder. I stamped The Greetery's Sketchbook Roses and added in all of the first steps around the blooms. Then, I cut it apart so that I could use it on the top and bottom of my card.

I adhered the numbers into the middle of my frame and added in 'Celebrating' from Digit Sentiments.

Paper: Solar White (Neenah)
Ink: Bundled Sage, Iced Spruce, Spun Sugar distress oxide (Tim Holtz)
Stamps: Digit Sentiments, Sketchbook Roses (The Greetery)
Dies: Bold Numbers, Sketchbook Roses (The Greetery)
