I was asked to make some plantable birthday cards and set to work with the Budding Beauties Spring blooms from The Greetery. I decided to try out some different colour combinations.

Here I used Worn Lipstick + Spun Sugar distress oxide inks for my tulip blooms and then Peeled Paint + Mowed Lawn for my tulip stems. The cherry blossoms on each card use Spun Sugar + Worn Lipstick + Bundled Sage + Ground Espresso. The baby's breath on each card uses Walnut Stain + Iced Spruce

For the tulips on this card I used Milled Lavender + Wilted Violet + Bundled Sage + Pine Needles.

The tulips on this third card are a combination of Squeezed Lemonade + Festive Berries + Bundled Sage + Mowed Lawn. Each element on these cards is die cut from plantable paper and then adhered with a water-based glue so that the entire card is still plantable!
