I am SO excited to share my first slider card! It took some trial and error and more learning but it finally came together smoothly! We happen to have a couple of little guys in our lives with birthdays coming up in August who have firefighter daddies. When I saw this Village Heroes set from Lawn Fawn I knew it would be perfect and was so happy I could get it in Canada through Papercrafters Workshop

I made this card into a slimline card to play along with this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge to make a slimline card.

I created this summer scene based on the beautiful mountains that surround our city using images from the Village Heroes set and the Happy Village set. I added in a bright sky blending Speckled Egg + Broken China distress oxide ink and a sun to play along with the summer challenge over at Lawn Fawnatics

Here is a video showing how my slider card moves!

Paper: Candy Apple, White Daisy (CTMH); Storm Cloud (LF); Coldpress watercolour paper (Canson)
Stamps: Village Heroes, Happy Village, Happy Birthday (LF)
Ink: Archival Black (CTMH); Speckled Egg, Broken China distress oxide ink (Tim Holtz)
Markers: N45, N95, 055, 177, 249, 451, 856, 969, 992 (Tombow)
Dies: Village Heroes, Happy Village, Stitched Mountain Borders, Large Slimline Slider (LF)
