These cards contain some of my absolute favourites from The Greetery. I seem to gravitate toward these elements at Christmastime and have made similar designs a couple of times (2019, 2021).
I started out by inking up the Frosty Flakes stencil with some White Daisy ink on Toffee cardstock. This time, I wanted to have my tree base colour as Forest Moss distress oxide ink. I did the first two tree layers in it (stamping twice on the second layer).
Next, I wanted to try Vintage Photo distress oxide ink for the third tree layer. I ended up really liking the effect when the ink was dry! I had originally intended on using the trimmings set to add a fancy layer, but ended up liking the cards much better without it. I found the perfect sentiment from the new Tear Strip Tags stamp set that just happened to be laying around on my desk. I decided to carefully ink up just the bottom sentiment on the set with a finger dauber so that I did not get ink on the other attached sentiments.
