It is our nephew's 14th birthday this weekend and I was thinking...how do I make a birthday card for a 14-year old?!

This stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio is one of my favourites and I love how it looks in greens and can be used at any time of the year.

I used inks from Pigment Craft Co. in Eucalyptus + Fir + Jade + Sage for the tree layers.

I took out the Alphanumeric Bulletin dies and cut out the 1 and 4 in both white + black cardstock. I inked up the solid numbers in Jade ink and then used the black outline to go around them. I love how it makes the numbers pop! I then chose a birthday sentiment to add to the top - done!

Paper: Solar White (Neenah); Black Licorice (Lawn Fawn)
Stamps: Birthday Greetings (Studio Katia)
Ink: Eucalyptus, Fir, Jade, Sage (Pigment Craft Co.); Black (CTMH)
Stencils: Wintry Forest (Pinkfresh Studio)
Dies: Alphanumeric Bulletin (Tim Holtz x Sizzix)
