Our nephew turned 8 this past week, so I set out to make him a baseball card!

I used the colours of our local baseball team, red and black, and pulled out the Spellbinders Game Day Collection again.

I inked up the embossing folder with some Vintage Photo distress oxide ink, and then embossed it onto some Fern cardstock.

I decided to cut out the birthday number in baseballs and use them as part of my background. I also cut out a bat in woodgrain paper. I was in a bit of a rush putting this together that I totally forgot about adding a sentiment to the front, but I think it still works great and our nephew was thrilled with it :).

Paper: Fern, Poppy (Spellbinders); Black Licorice (Lawn Fawn); Solar White (Neenah)
Ink: Vintage Photo distress oxide (Tim Holtz)
Dies: Athletic Apparel, Sporting Goods (Spellbinders)
Embossing Folder: Sports Talk (Spellbinders)
