Here is a look at the second set of wedding invitations I had the honour of designing and making this winter for a friend! These colours are perfect to signify the beginning of summer - which just so happens to be their wedding date! The bride had the fun idea to have "join us in the woods" on the front of the invitation since they are getting married in a beautiful treed area and many of their guests are from the prairies!

Paper - Colonial White, Lilac (CTMH); Vanilla Malt (Lawn Fawn)
Stamps - Waterfront (SU)
Ink - Charcoal (second generation stamping) (CTMH)
Dies - Stitched Hearts, Basic Hearts, Stitched Rectangle Frames (CTMH)

I am linking up with the Heart2Heart challenge about tools. The tool I couldn't live without for these invitations definitely has to be my Cuttlebug - along with all of these Close To My Heart thin cuts! For these invitations I used our Basic Hearts + Stitched Hearts + Stitched Rectangle Frames. I love how they came together with this lilac organza ribbon I found at FabricLand.
