Inspired by...All The Little Things Guest Designer

Woo-hoo! I am excited to say I am a guest designer over at Inspired by...All The Little Things this week! My talented Auntie Karen is the hostess and we have been crafting together for a long time! We found some time at our family cabin this summer for crafting and she gave me a few pointers on watercolour painting!
I am so stoked about our inspiration graphic this week:
Here is my take on it :)
Paper - Slate, Black, Whisper cardstock; Lucy paper collection (CTMH);
Ink - Slate, Lagoon, Memento Tuxedo Black (CTMH); Stamps - Coffee, Chocolate (Verve); Simple Memories (CTMH); 
Dies - Coffee word die, Cuppa Joe (Verve); Embossing Folder - Wood Slats (CTMH).
I just had to use a doily for this card. I also found this cute little heart pin that I could use to hold my canvas tag in place :)

I also used the Viva la Verve sketch to create this card and am linking up with that challenge as well.

Guest Designer for The Challenge

A few months ago I won the opportunity to be a guest designer at The Challenge by creating this card. As luck would have it, the inspiration photo I was asked to use for today's card is near and dear to my heart. I wanted to go off of the Paris theme and found this French stamp set from a few years ago that also had roses. I played and played around with watercolours for this card and finally settled on this design. Here it is :)
 Paper - Lagoon, Glacier, Black cardstock (CTMH); distress watercolour cardstock (Tim Holtz);
Ink - Tuxedo Black (Memento), Lagoon, Blush (CTMH); 
Stamp set - Jardin (CTMH); Die - Stitched Rectangles (Memory Box).
