I made up this card to thank our boys' swim teachers. 

I hosted a baby shower this weekend for a family member and this is the card I made her! 

For my mother-in-law's birthday this year, I decided to create a set of cards for her with a wine theme. I wanted to keep the cards fairly simple and found some inspiration on Pinterest from Francine. I decided to use my MIL's favourite colours on each card - purple and green.

For my Mom's birthday card this year I set out to make her a wine card. This Simon Says Stamp set paired with the fun wine sayings from My Favorite Things seemed to be fitting for what I envisioned. I stamped the image in a lighter Memento ink that I just got and then set to work with my Tombow markers to create a watercolour effect.

I was excited to add some more tags to my growing collection! I loved Svitlana Shayevich's pretty tags on Day 2 of Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags. I must admit, when I first looked at them I thought they were gold glitter! That stuck in my head and I set to work to make some tags and the cheers just seemed to go along with the snowflakes. Of course I had to make a wine bottle tag, too, with the cheers die cut! I paired our current favourite wine, Wayne Gretzky Estates Cabernet Merlot from Niagara, with the wine bottle tag.

Christmas Tag Count: 7 + 5 = 12

I've been wanting to get this older Close To My Heart wreath set for awhile now this fall. When I saw the current layout over at Freshly Made Sketches, it just screamed wreath to me! Needing some sympathy cards, I felt the wreath could serve as a warm heartfelt sympathy card. I intended to add the "three" items to the wreath at the bottom like the sketch, but it just looked too busy with this wreath, so I chose to make this paper bow instead.
