Ok, I am declaring these the last Christmas cards I am making in 2022! I am pretty stoked...I had a goal to make 80 cards for myself and I have succeeded! That doesn't count all of the Christmas cards I made to take up to Fullfill, so I have made a LOT of Christmas cards this year!
Believe
I am loving playing around with these mica sprays! I made a tag the other day and loved it so much I wanted to make some cards.
Forest Moss Fir & Foliage
Mistletoe 2022
As I was thinking of my colour combinations for the Create-in-Quads Mistletoe set from Taylored Expressions, I knew that I wanted to incorporate navy this year.
Frosty Pines
Let these be my most intricate, time-consuming Christmas cards of 2022! I don't know why I do this to myself! These cards took FOREVER! Though I am pleased with the results :).
I started out by wanting to create a pinkish winter sky with the Stencilscapes Winter from The Greetery. I had seen something similar from Angelica Conrad on the design team and chose my own colour palette of Saltwater Taffy + Tattered Rose + Cracked Pistachio + Pine Needles + Ground Espresso + Lumberjack Plaid distress oxide ink.
Love, Joy, Peace
Another blue Christmas card!!
Snowball Fight #2
Here is a look at a second card I made in the Snowball Fight class this past weekend with Jenn Shurkus.
Snowball Fight #1
I had so much fun taking the Snowball Fight class with Jenn Shurkus this weekend! Here is one of the cards we made. Though these are winter cards that could be used throughout the season, I think I will be using them as Christmas cards - if I can bear to give them away :)!
Lumberjack Plaid
To test out the new Lumberjack Plaid distress oxide ink for the first time, I thought I would use it with my current favourite background stamp - the Pine & Berry Background Stamp from The Greetery.
Merry Poinsettias
I wanted to do some watercolour and decided to take out an older set from Studio Katia. I decided I wanted to cluster my poinsettias and took out the Gina K. Masking Magic Strips to test out - and I loved them! Super easy to use and beautiful results.
Fa la la la
During the lastest release from The Greetery, I was inspired by a card that had the Pine & Berry Background stamped in black ink onto dark grey cardstock. I decided to give it a try!
Blue Mistletoe
Ok, I know there isn't really blue mistletoe in real life, but I just couldn't resist trying out the Create-in-Quads Mistletoe set with Uncharted Mariner distress oxide ink! And I think I LOVE the results!
Christmas Blueprints
My inspiration for these cards - if you can believe it - comes from a set on a show I have watched for years: The Young & The Restless! In their coffee shoppe, Crimson Lights, I have had my eye on some artwork in the background that is white sketched images on black, matted in white and then mounted on kraft. Admittedly, the images from the set also then have a final black mat around the whole image, but I didn't want to use up that much black cardstock - ha!
Most Wonderful Time of the Year
I set out to make some cards with the Simply Wonderful set from The Greetery. With the sentiments, I was hoping to make both Christmas + Birthday cards (to take up to Fullfill).
Snowflake Joy
Inspired by a card made by Gina K Designs, I pulled out some Studio Katia supplies to try it out.
Christmas Cheer
I had this colour combo in mind when I took out the Pinkfresh Studio Brushed Sentiments Holiday set to play around. I absolutely love that I can stamp and cut out multiple sentiments at one go! I decided to emboss the sentiments in gold.
Winter StencilScapes
Looks like this is my first Christmas card post of 2022! I've been working away on Christmas and feel like it's finally appropriate to post about it now :). I am absolutely in love with this StencilScapes Winter scene from The Greetery!
