Here is a look at a second card I made in the Snowball Fight class this past weekend with Jenn Shurkus.
We started out by using the Lawn Fawn Snow Flurries Backdrop. Cut out in Distress Watercolour Paper, we smooshed some Wilted Violet + Peacock Feathers onto a craft mat, spritzed it with water, and then dipped the paper in, repeatedly drying and dipping some more a few times.
I coloured up my images with Tombow markers and then added in some Wink of Stella glitter accents. I love their little rosy cheeks and how we have created another snowball fight scene!
I played around with adding one layer of light blue marker onto the bottom of the ice blocks and snow, and then just touching a wet paintbrush to it to soften the lines a bit (versus dragging it out to paint the image or cover a larger area). I really like how the snow turned out!
I decided to prep two of each card as we went along and I will probably use these sweet cards for Christmas cards, though I love the versatility that they could be used for other occassions!
