I got into my craft room this week to make a card for one of my friends, Nadine, to give her husband on his birthday! I set out to create an orange card with a thyme pun sentiment, and decided to put a tea cup on it because I had heard he was a tea fan too. I went through my paper stash and was thrilled to stumble upon some oldies that seemed perfect for what I was wanting to create. I also finally tried out my embossing pen so that I could personalize the sentiment the way I wanted. I used Freshly Made Sketches to create the design.
Paper - Stella paper collection; Colonial White (CTMH); Victoria Gardens (Echo Park);
Stamps - Let's Chat (Concord & 9th);
Ink - Olive, Champagne (CTMH); Bright Tangelo (Ranger);
Die - Stitched Ovals (Memory Box).

Here is a look at the inside. The sentiment reads, "When I'm with you...Thyme stands still".

  2. I realized I did not have any tape to attach my thyme... so I used a gluestick! It worked really well and it looks much better than a piece of tape would have. Thanks again, Allie! He loved it.
