I am so pleased that these beautiful custom wedding invitations are finally complete! I have been designing and working on them for the past few months. Don't you love finishing a project? It feels so satisfying! I hand painted 70 of these floral bundles using distress oxide inks. I really like the soft and chalky look they give the image. The bride had an idea on how she wanted the wording and we came up with a template using Google Docs so that we could easily work on it together without sending it back and forth. I was able to print these off onto heavyweight Lawn Fawn cardstock and then heat emboss the image from Simon Says Stamp Floral Bliss stamp set before colouring them up with the inks. I was so pleased to be ready to photograph these invitations that I went down to our local floral shoppe, MJs Floral Boutique, where they helped me pick out just the right sprigs to include :).

Paper - Kraft (Lawn Fawn)
Ink - Evergreen Bough, Worn Lipstick, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans distress oxide inks (Tim Holtz)
Embossing Powder - White super fine detail (Ranger)
Stamps - Floral Bliss (Simon Says Stamp)

I am linking this up with the "anything goes" challenge over at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and "what's the weather" over at Lawn Fawnatics because spring has to be coming just around the corner, right?!
