I was asked to create a card for someone who is switching jobs this month. The card was to be larger and I knew that I wanted to use the beautiful Print Shop: Spring Mix from The Greetery for the card.

I stencilled my scene using Eucalyptus + Fir ink from Pigment Craft Co. and then Chipped Sapphire + Picked Raspberry + Shaded Lilac distress oxide inks. I decided to mount the flowers onto Black Licorice cardstock from Lawn Fawn and then set it on Sapphire cardstock from Close To My Heart.

I was trying to find the appropriate sentiment for this card and decided to use the PinkFresh Studio Foiled Sentiments that I just picked up from my recent trip to The Papercrafter's Workshop in Ontario. I decided to combine two of the sentiments that seemed fitting for this occasion!

Paper: Solar White (Neenah); Black Licorice (Lawn Fawn); Sapphire (CTMH)
Stamps & Stencils: Print Shop: Spring Mix (The Greetery)
Ink: Black (CTMH); Eucalyptus, Fir (Pigment Craft Co.); Chipped Sapphire, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac distress oxide (Tim Holtz)
Diecuts: Foiled Sentiments (PinkFresh Studio)

  1. Beautiful colour combo! And those sentiments are the perfect accent.
