It's my Mom's birthday today! I wanted to make her a special card so I took out the beautiful washi tape I got during my trip to Ontario from Papercrafter's Workshop. When I was in the store, I saw a pretty mini slimline card using a different washi tape set and decided that was the size I would like to do as well!

I made a reel on Instagram to show how I made this card! I started by spreading out the washi tape onto cardstock and diecutting the images. I did this twice so that I had lots to choose from. Next, I diecut two rectangles from the Lawn Fawn Mini Slimline Stackables

I chose the sentiment, "You're some kind of wonderful," from the Sunflowers Washi stamp (if you watch my reel you'll hear that song, "Some Kinda Wonderful" by Sky!) and heat embossed it in Princess Gold. Next, I played around with the images on either side of the card to create the look I wanted.

I popped the middle rectangle up on foam tape and adhered the images onto the card. Then, I just had to create a matching envelope for the card and chose to use some Simple Stories paper for the inside of the envelope. When I sealed the card inside, I added the lemon to the envelope as well!

Paper: Solar White (Neenah)
Stamps & Washi Tape: Lemons and Blueberries Washi Tape, Sunflowers Washi (Pinkfresh Studio)
Dies: Lemons and Blueberries Washi (Pinkfresh Studio); Mini Slimline Stackables (Lawn Fawn)
Embossing Powder: Princess Gold (Ranger)
