Here is the birthday card that Harvey made for his best little buddy. Of course, Alex had to get in there too to help!

Because his friend had admired a castle card I made for another birthday, Harvey knew he wanted to make him a birthday card using the Build-a-castle set from Lawn Fawn. I suggested we make a sandcastle card to coordinate with the beachy pjs we were giving him as a gift!

We cut out the castle using some Paper Bag cardstock and inked our background scene using the Beach Sunset stencil along with Scorched Timber + Twisted Citron + Rustic Wilderness distress oxide inks. I adhered the castle to the scene and cut it down using my paper trimmer so that it fit nicely with the palm trees.

We added in some sand and created some Scorched Timber sand speckles. Of course, we had to add in the little boy's cat peeking out of the sandcastle and a sparkly '7' inside the castle door.

Check out my Instagram for a reel of making this card! Here is the YouTube short I put together:

I am linking up with the Lawnfawnatics Challenge. My bingo is Paper Trimmer + Critter + Birthday + Ink Blending + Glitter!
