I finally got some time to play with this technique I have been itching to try! I was inspired by Ilda Dias and Barbara Tarayao and their talented creations.

I took out the Branching Flowers embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp. I embossed it onto some white cardstock. Using the backside of the embossed image, I coloured the flowers with Mustard Seed + Picked Raspberry distress ink. Then, I used a sponge dauber to colour the leaves with Rustic Wilderness distress ink.

Next, I took out Scorched Timber distress oxide ink and dragged the ink pad across the entire panel. I love how it highlighted the details in the flower and gave a great rich colour to the background!

I added a simple 'enjoy' die cut sentiment in gold glitter paper. I wanted a hint of that same glitter paper on the side of the panel to tie it all in. Can't wait to play around some more with this technique!

Paper: Gold Glitter (CTMH); Solar White (Neenah)
Ink: Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Rustic Wilderness distress; Scorched Timber distress oxide (Tim Holtz)
Embossing Folder: Branching Flowers (Simon Says Stamp)
Dies: Enjoy (Simon Says Stamp)
