I saw the cutest card featuring the Spellbinders October Club Kits and just had to make my own version!

Christmas Card Count: 26 + 6 = 32

I started out by embossing some Poblano Pepper + Mint Julep panels with the Checkered Argyle embossing folder. I then used Uncharted Mariner + Cracked Pistachio distress inks to add some contrast to the top third of the panels. I added in some white spatters too.

I die cut several penguins using the Festive Friends die set. I wanted the penguin to have a Santa hat, so I used some beautiful Metallic Red cardstock from Lawn Fawn.

I took out some gold thread and wrapped it around the embossed panel a few times. I secured it on the back and then popped the panel up on some foam tape and set it on a white card base.

Next, I made some white wax seals with the Most Wonderful Time of the Year wax seal stamp. After it was cool, I used a gold marker to add some colour to the letters. I set the wax seal on top of the gold thread and then put the penguin on top of that. I just love how these turned out!

Paper: Black Licorice, Fake Tan, Red Metallic (Lawn Fawn); Solar White (Neenah); Mint Julep, Poblano Pepper (Taylored Expressions)
Embossing Folder: Checkered Argyle (Spellbinders)
Dies: Festive Friends (Spellbinders)
Wax Seal Stamp: Most Wonderful Time of the Year (Spellbinders)
