Here is a second card using the Bold Botanicals with distress watercolour pencils. For this image, I decided to go with a yellow theme.
I started out with the centre. At first, I thought I just wanted Brushed Corduroy and I loved how it turned out but then I played around with adding more browns like Gathered Twigs, Scorched Timber, and even Rusty Hinge.
For the petals, I started out with a base of Squeezed Lemonade, and then added in some Mustard Seed and Fossilized Amber to the edges and centre.
Finally, I spattered some Black Soot and Picket Fence colour and then added in another sentiment from Note Quotes.
