My crafty friend, Tammy and I decided to challenge ourselves to a watercolour challenge where we must use our distress watercolour pencils! I decided to start with the Bold Botanicals set and chose a flower to do each day.

Funny enough, I avoided this particular image until the very end. It looked very intimidating to me. I pulled out some pinks and pinky-reds and set to work. I hated what I created. I was very frustrated.

I let the image dry and tried to go back in. I added some lines in the black. Still, I was not happy with how it was turning out. I reluctantly shared the image on my IG stories and went to bed.

When it was dry, I liked the image better but still not much. It was not until I turned it fully into a card that I realized it probably was my favourite of the set and I am pretty happy now with how it turned out - funny how that can happen! A good reminder :)
