It was our nephew's birthday this week and it just so happened to be his 'sweet 16' birthday so I just HAD to make a car card! Luckily my crafty friend came to my rescue with the perfect car image for me to colour!

The car image is heat embossed which made it nice and easy to colour up with a Tombow marker. I chose red because it is his favourite colour.

I wanted to put '16' on the card somehow so I pulled out a little circle tag and punched the numbers out in silver foil.

I found the perfect papers to use for the card from the Hockey Collection by Simple Stories. I tore the paper to fit in with the theme. I used a coordinating sentiment from the sticker collection in this series - love this one!

Paper: Hockey Collection (Simple Stories); Barn Red, Black Licorice (Lawn Fawn); Silver Foil (CTMH)
Marker: 885 (Tombow)
Dies: Stitched Circle Tags (Lawn Fawn)
