Today is a crafty little friend's birthday and I couldn't resist making up a card I knew she would appreciate! I wanted the base of colours to be purple because that is her favourite colour, so I pulled out the stunning new Gleeful Gradients paper from Lawn Fawn. Linking up to the friendship theme over at the Lawnfawnatics Challenge!

*UPDATE* I was featured on the Lawnfawnatics Challenge for this card!

I chose a purple sunset paper as the background and stencilled on a grassy hillside in Rustic Wilderness distress oxide ink. I selected some characters from several different sets in the Treat Cart collection and set to work to create a scene.

I used the coordinating colouring stencils with distress inks, which made it easy to colour up all of the tiny details.

I used the stitched rounded rectangles to cut out the panel and then set it onto some more patterned paper raised up by foam tape.
