I have some students starting their final practicum this week and I wanted to make them a card! I pulled out some products I haven't had a chance to play with yet along with some gouache paint that I have never tried! My friend, Tammy, started #craftyourstash2026 so this looked like the perfect opportunity to play along!
I first stamped the book background onto distress watercolour paper and then heat embossed it in black. On a separate piece of watercolour paper, I stamped Winnie the Pooh and a coordinating sentiment and heat embossed them in black as well.
Next, I pulled out some gouache paint and coloured them up! I fussy cut out the Winnie the Pooh and then used a banner die for the sentiment. I popped them all up using foam squares.
Paper: Distress watercolour paper (Tim Holtz)
Stamps: Once Upon a Page, Winnie the Pooh: Learning Adventures with Pooh (Unity Stamp Co.)
Colour: Butter, Cream, Grey Ultra, Ice Blue, Lavender, Milkweed, Morning Peach, Robin's Egg, Sky Blue, Wild Rose gouache (Beam Paints)
