It's my friend, Natasha's birthday today! She has a tropical trip coming up and I just couldn't help but picture her when I saw this new set from Unity Stamp Co. being released today!
I started by colouring the image with my distress watercolour pencils. I decided to focus on all of the colours from Set 1 because that is what I am gifting to the birthday girl! Once dry, I lightly layered on some distress spritz to give some sparkle.
I found the perfect sentiment from another set that I thought went well with the idea of staring out at a sparkly sea. I trimmed down my panel and used the Molded Frame embossing folder with woodgrain cardstock to create a frame for the panel to sit in. I swiped some Walnut Stain distress ink around the woodgrain to distress it a bit.
