I took some time today to play with the stunning new collection designed by my favourite craft store lady, Sheri Ballantyne of the Papercrafters Workshop in Stouffville, Ontario! This entire collection has such an important mental health message that I will be highlighting in some future projects coming soon!
For today, I decided to craft my stash inspired by my friend, Tammy, to pair some older patterned papers with this new die and stamp set. Of course I couldn't decide on the papers and colour combos to use, so I had to make up two cards!
For the background, I used an embossing folder with some bold colours. Next, I paired some patterned papers with the opposite colour of the background. I cut out some of the accessories in matte gold paper and absolutely LOVE the detail that adds (thanks for the inspo, Auntie Karen!). The details on the dies are very thoughtful for ease of putting together.
I stamped a coordinating sentiment directly onto my embossed panel - of course I had to start with this fantastic purse sentiment!
I popped the purse up on foam squares in the frame just above the sentiment.
I can't wait to play more with this amazing collection!
