This stunning stamp is now available at Unity Stamp Co. and I decided to colour it up with my distress watercolour pencils.
I chose to use the image and a coordinating sentiment on some dark grey coloured cardstock. I started out by colouring up the swan using the white distress watercolour pencil. I built up some layers to create some texture for the feathers. I coloured in the other details with colour listed below.
Once I was finished colouring the panel, I tore the cardstock along the top and bottom edges. I chose some new patterned paper and created a card base with it.
It is always challenging to find the energy to make sympathy cards when you actually need them, so I am happy to have a couple of these in my stash now.
You can find a tutorial on how I created this card below:
Paper: Earl Grey (Taylored Expressions); Where Petals Meet Paper (Unity Stamp Co.)
Stamps: The Gentle Goodbye (Unity Stamp Co.)
Ink: Bundled Sage, Fossilized Amber, Picket Fence, Spiced Marmalade, Stormy Sky, Victorian Velvet, Villainous Potion distress watercolour pencils (Tim Holtz)
