I am loving this new mixed media background floral stamp from Unity Stamp Co.!

Here I started by spritzing a watercolour panel with distress oxide spray and then distress spray stain. I instantly blotted it with a paper towel.

Once dry, I coloured the flowers up with distress watercolour pencils. I inked up the edges with some distress oxide ink to soften the colour a bit.

Then, I took a sentiment from the set and used a die to cut it out. I did the same spray technique with blotting it right away and then inked the edges, too. I mounted it onto the panel with foam squares and then set the panel onto a navy blue background.

You can find a video tutorial (coming soon).
