It is the 2020 Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop today and I am SO excited to have a card ready to link up and some time to hop around. I decided to take out my Cozy Cup set from The Greetery to create some colourful mugs.

On this card, I used cracked pistachio + evergreen bough distress oxide inks for the mug and then vintage photo + walnut stain distress inks for the coffee inside (or I like to say it's tea!).

Wanting to create a bright mug for my second card with this design, I started out with squeezed lemonade distress ink and then added wild honey distress oxide ink for the shading. I wanted to add a strip of something to the bottom of the cards, so I used my Flappable stencil and some black soot distress ink to stencil in some stripes. I decided to stitch this on with my sewing machine and managed to keep the stitching line straight - yay! I added in the spatters for both cards afterwards and got a little heavy-handed on this one, but I am still happy with them both overall.

Paper: Solar White (Neenah)
Ink: Cracked Pistachio, Evergreen Bough, Walnut Stain, Wild Honey distress oxide; Vintage Photo, Squeezed Lemonade, Black Soot distress ink (Tim Holtz); Black (CTMH)
Stamps: Cozy Cup (The Greetery)
Stencils: Flappable (The Greetery)

  1. They're amazing, Allie! And the spatters are the perfect touch :o)

  2. Awesome cards. I like the image and colors.

  3. Gorgeous cards! I like the softer colours of the first one most. Also, I love the way you dressed your photo.

  4. Lovely, lovely CAS cards and perfectly perfect. The first card is a favourite and I am surprised by that because the second cuppa is the same colour as my very own cup.

  5. These are so pretty, love the colors. I may have to break down and buy this set, lol.

  6. These are absolutely beautiful, I love your style!
