This spring I decided to participate in the 1/Many Postcard event hosted by John Pedder. How it works is an artist releases a certain number of prints on a postcard size and will send them out worldwide for free in exchange for the recipient making a donation to a charity of their choice. This seemed like a great opportunity for me to focus on a project during this uncertain time, as well as take some time to work on my watercolour skills. I found an online course through Tombow (thanks, Auntie Karen!) that gave me some tips and techniques to enhance my blending. I chose to colour one of my favourite flower images, the Spring Bouquet from Studio Katia, because they are a Canadian company. I tried out a different colour combination on each card.

Here is a list of the dates and colour combinations I did for these cards:
March 20 - 195 + 723 + 905 + 991
March 21 - 249 + 725 + 761 + 993
March 22 - 055 + 177 + 243 + 847
March 23 - 025 + 062 + 228 + 755
March 25 - 158 + 676 + 679 + 835
March 25 - 228 + 723 + 761 + 905 + 991
March 26 - 158 + 451 + 526 + 620 + 723 + 761
March 28 - 055 + 296 + 603 + 761
April 6 - 249 + 755 + 885 + 993
April 6 - 025 + 249 + 526 + 993

Two of my cards are on their way to the UK, one to Switzerland, and the others to people around my area. It is pretty amazing to make these worldwide connections and to hear the charities where people are choosing to donate :).
